The boss, the big guy is kind trustworthy and guarantee his work. Charlie, the seal sprayer, he did an amazing job selling my driveway. Hands down fantastic job.

This is a first class group! We had damage on our driveway. We called two other paving companies, who didn't return our messages. As soon as we called South State, George answered and responded immediately. Shawn came out, evaluated the damage and set us up for repair. The South State Paving crew was wonderful. Charlie even sealed the asphalt the same day. These guys really know what they're doing! No high pressure sales pitch, VERY reasonable price. We highly recommend them.

South State did a great job on my driveway. It rained the first day after the new asphalt was put down. I noticed puddles forming. I sent pictures to the rep and the crew came back the next day and corrected the problem. The sealant was the icing on the cake as my drivway is immaculate now! No more getting out of the car and stepping in a puddle of water. Thanks to Shawn & George for an excellent job!!

We wanted an extension to our two car driveway, but we’re not sure of the size. Charlie was very patient in measuring, remeasuring, and remeasuring again until we decided on the size. We received what I thought was a very good price and work started almost immediately. Charlie stayed in touch with us throughout the process and checked in on us, even after the project was finished, the work crews worked very hard and were professional throughout. I’m confident that should there be any issues arise, which I don’t expect, that I could call Charlie at any point and he would take care of the situation. It’s nice to have confidence in the company and their representatives once the job is finished.

George and his crew arrived and were ready to complete the project. George stayed till it was completed and ensured I was happy with the end result. The South State team was very conscientious about their work, including seamless asphalt application and precise edging It’s very obvious that George Cooper has 4 generations behind him as he sizes up the job, indicates where special solutions are needed, and then executes the job to the highest standard. i think his price was fair and mutually agreed upon nice job George!

South State did an excellent job on my driveway they widened it making it much more useable. I was getting siding bids and when my contractor saw them working he took their card to refer them to his clients. This kind of work should be celebrated.

George approached my project with a very fair, honest and consultative approach that addressed considerations that the other 2 companies I received quotes from had not raised. Also, pool/landscaping company I used mislead me on installing a box drain and it wasn’t ready the day George’s crew was scheduled to do the paving. George gave me his word that after the drain was installed he’d send a crew back and fill in what was needed. He kept in touch and he delivered as he said he would. The driveway looks great! George and his crew did our driveway, handled the grading, cleaned up around our trees, and added mulch around some very large tree bases.
